a message for the new or non believer

I want you to think about the things in your life you may need healing in or things you’ve been struggling through for a long time now. Some of you are dealing with anxiety & depression, addiction, heartbreak, and loss. Life may be testing you in seasons of deep pain from death of a loved one, infertility, divorce, financial uncertainty, break ups, health issues, you name it. You might even feel like you’ve tried everything possible to get through the season you’re in from medication & therapy to drinking & drugs. And now you’re left feeling hopeless with no answers…

But what if, there was one last option? One more thing you haven’t tried that could be the answer to everything. Why wouldn’t you want to try it and open yourself up to the idea that it might be true? At this point what do you have to lose?

Jesus IS that answer. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

You might say, but I did try and He didn’t listen. He didn’t do the miracle….

God may not always answer our prayers how we want Him to, but that does not mean he isn’t listening to us or has forgotten about us. He is our Father and He wants what’s best for us even if it’s not pretty, even if we don’t understand. He hears us always and always answers our prayers in one way, shape or form.

We are going to experience pain and suffering in this life no matter what, but when we put our faith in Christ, He offers a peace that surpasses all understanding. A peace and comfort that makes the unbearable things in life bearable. He makes a way to endure.

Now imagine a place where there is no more pain, no more anxiety or depression. A place where murder doesn’t exist and heartbreak isn’t possible. No more loss, no more sorrow, no more grief. Imagine a place where you get to experience pure peace and unconditional love forever.

Revelation 21:4-5

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat at the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”

This place isn’t somewhere in our imagination. It is real and every living person can call this place their home for eternity if you simply believe and follow. This is a place we get to share with the one true God. We will be side by side with the God of perfect love. He will be our king. Not like the rulers of this world, but one that expresses love that is, “patient and kind; a love that does not envy or boast; is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices with the truth. A love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This is a love that very few of us have experienced in this life, but one that we CAN experience in it’s fullness if you say yes to Christ.
